It's a great keyboard if you're Desk-less.
I have an unusual workspace, no desk! I'm either sitting on the floor or on a couch. As such, I need a keyboard I can put to the side. You can't do that with most keyboards these days! They don't rest on their edge because they are all rounded. Terribly annoying! This keyboard can sit on it's edge. It's square. Square is good for me.Outside of it's great form, it's got a good palm rest area, sits well in my lap, and the keys feel nice. I wish there was a bit more space on the Left, as I have to slide it over quite a bit to sit in my lap properly and touch type. Again, NO DESK. The volume keys work fine, and those are the only keys I ever use. Also, being Logitech, the battery life is phenomenal. All Logitech products tend to have good battery life, so that's to be expected. It's a good, no frills, dependable keyboard.

Great Keyboard & Mouse Combo for the Money!
Great keyboard and mouse combo - especially for the price! It has helped me type much more comfortably and has been a wonderful addition to my office setup - especially since my work gave me a wired keyboard and mouse to use (seriously??). I will be buying a second for my home office to replace my smaller keyboard and mouse. Definitely recommend!

Great Buy
Surprisingly good keyboard. Keys are slightly beveled so your fingers don't hurt compared to flat key keyboards. When typing keys are silent and do not make any odd squeaks or creeks. Easy to setup and use. It came pre-installed with batteries in the keyboard & mouse.

Great bundle
Works great doe my work office. Comes with 1 usb device that works for the mouse and keyboard. Both have off switches to preserve battery. Took 3 seconds to set up.

Great keyboard / lousy mouse
I just received my keyboard & mouse. I am pleased with the quality of the keyboard; however, I feel that the mouse that was sent is inferior and poorly made. I have owned numerous Logitech keyboards and mice and typically are good quality and work well. I am very disappointed in the mouse.

Smooth and satisfying typing
Bought this keyboard as a replacement for my work computer. I type around 50,000 keys a week at work and my old keyboard finally starting wearing out which was a knockoff of an MX Keys keyboard. It was nice and I got very good at typing on it. I decided I wanted to try a more traditional style keyboard rather than a pebble style like I had. I have been using the MK540 for a day now and am blown away by the features and quality for the price. Installation literally takes 5 seconds and I love the feel and sound of the keys on this board. In addition, I like the following other features that my past keyboard lacked:1. Larger palm rest2. Multiple tilting positions3. Dedicated audio controls. My old keyboard just used the FN keys which was annoying4. Dedicated calculator button5. Dedicated windows lock button6. Quieter keys but still lots of feedback and very pleasing noise7. Logitech quality

Well, Logi (Logitech)'s normally great record has been broken...
Gotta vent.I've had my Logitech K800 forever and a day and LOVED it. Never any performance problems, smooth, comfortable, easy to use, and took a beating daily for years. Got it through work, so it was more expensive than your usual, but it couldn't last forever. It started being unable to take a charge, so I knew I would have to retire it. (They stopped making these (WHY???) and they're selling after-market for a fortune.)I have Logi all things keyboard, mouse, etc., so went with them again. Bought a K650, but out of the gate, it started doing weird stuff, like repeating keys when you weren't even touching the keyboard, jamming up, or just stopping functioning. Did all the usual troubleshooting, but nothing worked.Just to save time, I sent it back here and replaced it with an MK540. Son of a gun if it didn't start immediately doing the same things. NOW I was cranky, so I did my online research and learned these are well known problems for others, who also couldn't solve them. I then went to Logi tech support. Got a level 1 person who walked me through the standard steps I'd already done multiple times (Did you turn it off and on again? :-D), gave me long lists of things to try, then at the end, when nothing worked said, "Well, it's within 30 days so just return it to the seller, and here's a link to our other keyboards.""Ummm," I said, "this is the exact same circumstance with two DIFFERENT keyboards in a row. As I had no trouble with my previous Logi keyboard, and nothing else has changed on my end, it seems logical that the problem is with the new software, hardware or some QA problem with producing these models. Why would I go buy another one when we don't know WHY it's doing this, suggesting I could go through this all over again?" (BTW, a MAJOR inconvenience for days). Her answer (twice): "Don't worry, it'll be fine, just go get another one." OMG.Stubborn, so I gave it a third shot (MX Mechanical) now for 3x the money hoping better quality would help, but guess what? I've now received my 3rd notice from Amazon saying delivery will be delayed, this time with no date estimate known.I tried, Logi, but even I am done. Buying a highly rated other keyboard that has all the features I need. Logi, not sure what you're doing with these membrane ones (vs. mechanical), but it's not working. If you could ship me a K800, I'd so appreciate it. :-D K

Love this keyboard and mouse
My keyboard croaked on me So I bought this to replace the microsoft keyboard I had. It works perfect with all the functions that I had before. The connectivity for the mouse and keyboard is perfect, it is a great value for the money spent. It is lightweight with a wrist rest . I love it
