Good, but need more sizes!
Life saver. But would love a larger one to disconnect the piston from the wheel base. I thought I’d never get that thing off.

Works Amazingly!
Easy to assemble and to use. Saved me from having to replace my gaming chair as I couldn’t remove the lift cylinder and wheeled base without it. I tried everything like WD-40, PB Blaster and a hammer with no luck. 5 mins later after installing this tool to the lift cylinder, it was removed .

Works like a charm
I purchased a Steelcase Amia Office chair and it did not work out, so I needed to return it. There are no instrutions on how to disassemble the chair on their website and their customer care is nonexistant. I found out about this little device on Reddit. WORKS LIKE A CHARM. I was able to remove the cylender from the chair (seat) and the wheel base no problem all without damaging or scratching the metal. All you need is this tool and a rubber mallet. EXCELLENT PURCHASE.

Worked Immediately!
Saw horror stories on reddit of this process taking hours and full of frustration. Took in total 15 mins to replace the gas strut in my chair. Very pleased!

Cheap screws - poor quality - barely works
Consider this a single use tool, the screws are so cheap once you get them tight enough to grip the shaft so it doesn't slip when you try to pull the piston, the screw heads start to strip and you can't get them back out of the collar after the piston is out. You might be able to drill out the screws and replace with better ones but my advise is buy a different version.
