I’ve purchased this spray multiple times, and it never disappoints. The salt-based formula adds the perfect amount of volume and texture without leaving the hair greasy or stiff. It works equally well for both casual and styled looks, giving hair a light hold and natural finish.The scent is clean and subtle, and the bottle lasts quite a while with regular use. I’ve tested other sea salt sprays before, but Pete & Pedro SALT consistently delivers better results.

The bottle sprays in a nice, even layer with good coverage. The spray has a light and pleasant scent, and it does provide you with that salty hair feel. The texture it adds is felt instantly. I'll have to mess around with it a bit more to see how I can use it with my hair, but it does what it says it does.

When first using, I planned to make a negative review.. Even as my hair was still wet but towel dried, I wasn’t happy with the texture of my hair. The shampoo and conditioner feel like snot, and the smell, in case you’re interested, is exactly the same as the smell of a tin of altoid treatments. Once my hair dried, though, it had volume like it has t had in years and had a great texture.The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is the price. A travel-sized think of shampoo is 4 oz., and that’s the most of a gel or liquid you can take on a flight. These are only twice the weight of those, and if you buy the hair spray, shampoo, and conditioner, you’re back $55. They can do better on the price for sure.

I bought this for my son and he says it works great! Has the right amount of “flow” vs “stay” for his straight hair.The larger size got taken at the airport (he forgot ugh) so the smaller size is perfect to travel with as well!

Works perfectly. Hair behaves, but still feels natural. A light spray and hair becomes manageable, and stays where you put it. I would say it’s a light hold. In other words, wind will still blow it around. If you require a stronger hold, then maybe another product is better. But with this, if someone touches your hair, they would not feel anything but natural hair. No greasy feel, or stiff follicles . It’s really good for what I need. I’m a male with semi longer hair.

The scent out of spray is not what I would prefer. Compared to other products I've used (European, not available in the US), I'd describe this scent as artificial and cheap. But that's my particular opinion. On the other hand, the hold is exactly what I like from salt spays: the shape stays and if I disturb the look during the day, it's easy to use my hand to get it back into a good look. I have fine, thinning hair and salt sprays give me a light hold, thickens the appearance, and allows for a natural shaping. No sticky hold or shine

My pre-teen son with wavy hair really likes this sea salt spray. The scent is nice, his curls respond well to it, and it helps his hair look healthy and managed. Its easy to use with a spray bottle (compared to some powdered products). He uses it daily.
