Seem well built and sturdy
The media could not be loaded. I haven’t installed these yet, but from opening the package, these seem to be well built and sturdy. They are certainly a bit stiff at first, but already seemed to open and close a little easier after a few times, and I’m guessing they will function better once installed too, since I’ll then have more leverage.

Might be on problem, not sure
These are very solid, heavy metal that latch securely when open. You get plenty of screws to install them. The screws were a tad long for the 3/4" lumber I made legs from, needed to be ground down flush with the board on the screws pointed side, but in what I was building, was not an issue. You will also need a firm table to secure them to, I used blocks of wood bigger than the hinge and attached those to the table bottom. I was just building a utility table, not furniture. When I first installed 4, they locked open and stayed that way, any wobbly or shakiness you might have with them will be on your construction, not on these hinges. When closed, they locked the legs in the closed position so they did not flop around. But, as I finished up the table, stained and polyurethaned it, for some reason the legs will not stay securely in the closed position. I don't know if I got some polyurethane on them somehow, or if when the table leg is closed the lock pin is not engaging the lock detent fully. I am still trying to understand what changed and if this was my fault or if the few times I opened and closed them the close detent got a bit worn. I do not see any wear marks, so thinking it is something in my work. The lock open detent is more robust and deep, and you have to use the little release handle to get them to close, and is a pinch point depending on how you put your hand. I think the issue with my project is that the latch needs a leg that will go just a bit beyond the normal 90 degrees when folded in, to allow the lock close detent to fully engage and not just slip slightly into the detent.

Seems to be great quality for the price.
To be honest, I have not used these yet as I decided to change the design of my project before these arrived, although I am certain that I will use them on another project in the near future. That being said, here's what I can tell you about these folding brackets so far.First of all, they were much smaller than I expected. I had perceived them to be about twice the size of what they actually are, but the dimensions are given in the description, so that was just my own brain assuming and the important thing is that they are the right size to work with a 2x4 or 4x4 as a leg. They are a bit difficult to open and close, but I feel that once they are mounted that they will probably operate aa smoothly as they should. These do seem to be well made and I'm pretty sure I would buy them again and once I do use these, I'm pretty sure I'm going to need more.I do think they are a great value for the price.

A+=b=b=b=b=b=b=b=
B+B+B+B+B+ It sould have been a warning that the legs are locked totally square instead most other legs that set at a slight outward tilt.....For looks nd strength.... But I will reccomend them besides that

Brackets are AMAZING - Screws HORRIBLE
As other people have commented, the heads for the screws pop off when trying to install. Crazy! If the company used better screws, this would be an obvious 5 star review. Hopefully they change the screws, but until then, you wont be able to use the screws. Throw them away and buy better screws.
