Great Clamps, Great Price
Ive been working out for close to 35 years and this is the best pair of locking clamps at a reasonable price point Ive ever used. The pair came promptly, has its own storage bag - that I really will use if I go on the road for extended periods, and they were holding down a few hundred pounds the first day. What I like are the double locks and the color. If you lift a lot, dont order black. Nothing worse than putting big weight on a bar and not having the confidence to remember if you put on the clamps too. I cant tell you how many times Ive had 300 or more on my back, and had that brief moment of fear when I couldn't remember if I'd put em on. I lived, but still. Since these come in lots of colors, I ordered a bright yellow --- because it would help with the visual memory and be one less thing to actively remember. Its already paying dividends.Overall very pleased with the design, the tight locking, the double locks, the storage bag, and the easy ordering/delivery.

Great product and incredible customer service.
These clamps worked super well for the first month and a half of use. However, a small piece of plastic broke while putting it on and it no longer clamps. It's unfortunate that the product didn't even last two months.UPDATE: I contacted Clout Fitness and they promptly responded to my email saying that I was actually sold a knock-off of their product based on the picture that I posted. They will be sending me a real pair free of charge.Incredible customer service!

Lifting weights without movement (oxymoron?)
This is a great compliment to your workout gym. It does what it is designed to do: clamp down on a 2" olympic bar like an alligator on its prey. I do several different types of olympic lifts and occasionally also do CrossFit in my garage. For Olympic lifts, despite me dropping the weights (from overhead) at times, these locking clamps hold the weights from sliding. For CrossFit, after several rounds of a high-repetition set, occasionally there is a little give (less than an inch), but that is normal with these type of clamps. Especially when you consider the abuse it goes through. They are also easy to remove when you want to throw on another set of plates. Best yet, they are a fraction of the price of the typical clamps. In fact, these are cheaper than even your name brand spring clips! I have used them over over 2 months on a daily basis and can tell you that they are durable and can take a beating.I can attest that these clamps work well and without hesitation can recommend them for your lifts! They will be there for your bad days and your PR days.

Broke on first use
Just got mine today and went to use it in my Ohio bar and one snapped before I even got a lift off. Was excited for these but very disappointed.

Great quality–price ratio!
I've used them twice for Crossfit workouts and these are holding up pretty well. I had my doubts because of the price and because of all the barbell throwing happening during a WOD but these are lightweight, yet durable and do a better job than the spring-like clamps you commonly find at most gyms since they're easier to put on and take off. The only downside I would point out is that if you're gonna be throwing the barbell a lot, they will move a little –but very little. I can live with that though since I'm constantly changing weights anyway!

All the difference in the world for us!
These are absolutely amazing! My wife and I love weights but hate having to change out plates on barbells. Clamps suck and get hung up easily and really slow down the workout. These fix all of those headaches! Easily release in less than a second, switch plates, then reapply these to secure the weight. It takes almost no time at all and they hug the plates tight onto the barbell to keep the plates from moving around like they do with regular clamps.Perfect for us. We take turns benching, deadlifting, squatting and bicep curls. We change weights a lot mid-set sometimes if we can't finish a rep. So seconds count, and we save many minutes and headaches during our workout thanks to these.Highly recommended!

Didn't fit right
Looked like a decent clamp with good reviews...however I tried them on my standard barbell and both of them snapped when I tried to close them on my first use. Not sure if I got bum clamps...but they were too small and didn't fit around the collars of my barbell.

Quick-Release Locking 2" Olympic Barbell Clamp [1-Pair]
This pair of Clout Fitness quick-release Olympic clamps seems decently made and has been working very well for me. The clamp bodies are made from thick ABS plastic and held together with four metal screws. The locking lever and release button are also made from ABS. There is a 1/8" metal pin used where the two halves of the clamp join when cinched together. The two large internal rubber pads are what grip and hold the clamps to the Olympic collars on the barbell or dumbbell. The four metal screws that hold the clamps body together also secure the rubber pads in place. I really like these quick-release clamps and prefer them to the spring clamps and locking training collars I used for years. They not only fit perfectly on the regular 50mm [2"] diameter ends on my barbell and tricep bar but, surprisingly also fit securely on the slightly undersized 49mm collars on my old 1990's era EZ-curl bar that I've always had problems with the spring clamps slipping during use. So far I haven’t had any issues with the Clout Fitness clamps slipping or coming loose on any of my bars. I liked them so much that I bought three pairs to use with my other bars. Each pair of clamps even came with its own nylon draw-string pouch to carry or store them in.
