This is an 8 cell battery and should have a longer run time than the standard 6 cell. It's too soon to tell if this is the case, but it certainly seems to run for a good length of time.The battery looks and connects in like it was made by HP. I am using it on a HP 4720S laptop. All I did was slide it in, it was recognized as a battery and was 1/2 charged out the box. This is a new laptop to me, so I do not have a good estimate as to whether it is better than original, but from prior experience extended cell batteries will be better.Only time will tell if it lasts a long time. On my old laptop the original HP battery would only last about 30 minutes after 1 year. The aftermarket extended cell lasted 7 years and was still saying it was 70% of life left. Again only time will tell.

came pre-charged @~85%. Always plugged in (office laptop) and VERY gradually went to Zero. Cannot be as the replacement battery from Futurebatt I ordered 12/30/19 came also ~85% and fully charged quickly. Bottom shelf product from AC Doctor.

I upgraded a friends old laptop with a new SSD and windows 10. The only prob left was the battery was trash. This was a perfect cheap upgrade, it works great and holds a charge.

Battery won't even take a charge, I found the old battery hadn't been charged since 8-3-2019 and it powered the computer up fine, won't be buying another one of these again.

Somehow, my order got lost in delivery so I didn't get it until about a week after it was shipped. Just the same, it was simple to install and works great!

Bought this for my wife's aging laptop and it works as expected. Shipping was fast and product arrived in great shape.

Sticks out a little compared to the original. Maybe a mismatch on the back of the laptop ot 1/32" to 1/16". Doesn't affect performance, fit etc.
