Functional Base Plate for Replacement 12v RV Lights
Needed to use this base plate to cover the hole left in the overhead cabinetry of our motorhome when I removed the OEM 12-volt lights in the bedroom and replaced them with "Genuine Marine 3W Flexible Gooseneck RV 12V Reading Lamp". The plate was just big enough to cover the hole, but I had to drill two new screw holes in this plate, as the original mounting holes weren't spaced right. Fortunately, the base on the light covered up those holes so the install looks great.

Not sure we needed them but gave a nice look!

Holes do not align with light fixture
The predrilled drilled holes did not match up with the light fixture. Had to drill and tap new holes. Not a quick fix. Looks good now that it is installed. Would be 5 star if it fit.
