Excited to receive. Boxed as expectedFor some god known reason only to the thoughtless designer the cable/chord from the battery to the headpiece is in the front.Halloween night while doing what kids do (trick or treat ) my child spilled candy on the sidewalk. While bending to pick up the candy, the battery cord wrapped around his neck and when he rose up the chord got tighter. I’m lucky there were fast thinking adults in arms reach who sensed what was happening.Dumb donkey whoever thought to run the power chord up the front instead of down the back.Poor design. Wish I could give zero stars.Garbage garbage dangerous. Toilet worthy.

I can echo the comments from some of the other reviewers. This thing looks cool so long as you are viewing it from directly in front and the room is dark. For my purpose, it will work well (passing out candy at the house). This thing does have quite a loud buzz though. The buzz gets louder as you dial up the brightness of the mask and if you choose to have the lights pulsate, the buzz will sound like an old-school digital alarm clock that buzzes on an interval. The interval buzzing is annoying enough that I would not consider using that feature and instead just leave the lights on all the time for a consistent buzzing experience. I tried dialing down the brightness to lower the volume for the buzz, but by time you get the brightness low enough to minimize the buzz, the mask becomes too dim to be effective. Again, this will work well for my use case as I can simply turn on the mask when each new victim approaches my door for a "trick or treat". However, I would not recommend this costume for well-lighted situations or situations where you want a costume to look good at all angles.

this product is flat, it does not fit around your face. when u look down u cant see anything it obstructs your vision. when the mask is turned on you can hear a ringing noise. the velcro that is on the only strap to stay on your head, that velcro doesnt stay attached to the elastic it is glued too. i also glued black ribbon to the mask so the lower half of the mask would stay closer to my heard. did i like the mask, it was just ok. the picture that was advertised with the mask on Amazon made me feel that you would only see the mask, not the back of my head. but no, that isnt the case. for the price that i paid, nope wouldnt really recomend this product to anyone. the battery pack for the 9volt battery wont close when the battery is in its case, you have to jam the cover on. that i didnt like. in my opinion when u pay such a high price for a mask you shouldnt have to fix it.

The battery box/controller makes a high pitch noise that is annoying and too loud. This is obviously rev 1 - it needs some improvement for rev 2. Rev 1 is not worth the $40 or $50 being asked.

We got one devil and two zombies. Everyone loved them. Even won the best group contest. One zombie has a hum in it, but it was not bothersome at all. All three worked fine. I sent a question about being able to wear glasses under the mask and yes you can( the company responded almost immediately to my question)!! The mask has a large foam pad on your forehead that allows you to wear glasses underneath. It was ok to walk around with, altho I basically had to look out one eye since they were spaced to far for me to see through both (be aware for kids). Depends on how far apart your eyes are. Needs a 9 volt battery. They were very bright and people were like "whaaaa" when you stroll up. Worth the money and an easy costume (just dress in black with a turtleneck or hoodie) if you have big hair, you might want to put it back or under a sock cap.

Mask lights up bright enough for daytime phone photos to look filtered. Brilliiantly simple, the battery cord is just long enough to not be a hindrance, Eats an alkaline 9 volt in about 4 hours. Hit of a Halloween party for sure

Went to put this on my daughter for halloween, put in the battery and it felt warm. Wouldn't light up and thr heat was so bad I realized it was actually melting where the wires go. Such a disappoint that her halloween costume was ruined but more terrifying that she could have had a fire start in her pocket!

We love this mask. Its not a comfortable fit but it is functional. I am able to fit it as well as my son (he's the size of a 6 year old).

I have ordered many items from Glow City. I did have a problem with the Battery cases. Once the battery is in, the case cannot be closed. AS USUAL, Brett from Glow City never hesitated and sent me new Battery Cases by mail at no cost to myself in Alberta, Canada. Thank You.
