Caron All Day Cotton - 3 Pack of 173 Yards/3.52 oz Country Blue 100% Mercerized Cotton Yarn

Used it for a bralette for summer and it's very soft! Minimal splitting too, only two tangles in the entire three pack. I'll be ordering other shades, but the black is so deep and pretty.This and the 24/7 cottons are my favorite, but the 24/7 is slightly slimmer. Fantastic working ability on hooks from 3m to 6m (what I used)

This three pack of yarn was a great value. It is 100% cotton, which makes it less fluffy and soft than other acrylic yards. I had to use a smaller needle then was recommended for this yarn because it is smaller and width. But regardless of that, it washes really well and doesn’t pill at all.

Beautiful color! My 10 year old daughter is quickly learning how to crochet through online video tutorials. She enjoys working with this - she says it's easy to work with, but she's still getting used to it since she's had more practice with the acrylic and chunky types of yarn. She says this cotton yarn makes her chaining bigger, but she will practice more with it and figure it out! She made a potholder for her grandpa out of this yarn and next I'd like her to make me some washcloths for dishes!

Ok this is a lovey color yarn. It is a soft cotton yarn that is definitely great for a washcloth but I am not sure how it will work out for a dishcloth. I knit it in a “bumpy” pattern which is good for a dishcloth. You also have to be careful when using it the yarn does split so take care when knitting.

I LOVE this yarn! It feels silky and the shade of green is beautiful. It has an antique feel when you look at it. I checked it against a variety of colors and it would blend with most colors. It’s especially pretty with a dark purple, like an eggplant type purple. It looks really good in a room with antique prints and furniture. I already ordered a second set so I can have it available. I used one skein to make custom sized dishcloths and I was able to make ten measuring approximately 3 1/2” by 4 1/2” from that one skein. There was just a tiny amount of yarn left over. I used a size H or 8 hook, which is the 5mm size, and did just a simple single crochet pattern. The tiny cloths are perfect for small hands or people with hand pain and they’re gorgeous in this color. The mercerized cotton should be washed and dried carefully. Washing instructions are included on the wrapper. Being able to make your own customized dishcloths makes this yarn an incredible value. I’m thinking about how many beautiful things I could make with it, like a summer blanket or a custom tote bag. I haven’t been able to crochet for decades due to a chronic illness which attacks my tendons and soft tissues, but I recently found a treatment which makes my pain more tolerable. I dug out my old crochet hooks and patterns from the 1970s and 1980s and began enjoying this yarn within a day after it arrived. I’m planning to enjoy it for years to come.

Great yarn to work with. Very soft and smooth. Have ordered more than once and will definitely be using again. It's a 4 weight and I'm using a size 5mm (H) hook for this project.

Pure cotton. The dye will not run when washing. The softness is a medium. Great for making blankets and other accessories for people who have skin allergies.

Purchased Caron All Day Cotton - 3 Pack of 173 Yards/3.52 oz White Shirt 100% Mercerized Cotton Yarn on May 19, 2025 one skein was good, the second had a fray with 2 broken strands in the middle and a knot near the end. the third skein had a knot about 4/5 of the way. The second and third skeins were also several yards shorter than the first. I intended to use the entire skein for a single project so knots were not expected, wanted, nor acceptable..
