Aquacel silver is a fantastic wound care product. Though it is expensive this seller had a reasonable price and provided as advertised! Will purchase again!

Needed more in between doctors visit and this was what we needed. The 2x2 is definitely small but worked out just fine.

This product is really good for anyone with an ulcer. I've used and it really makes a difference.

Somehow this stuff actually works!After a surgical procedure, I still had a flesh wound on my thigh about the size of a nickel. It continually drained fluid and required that I change my dressing daily. Despite doctor visits every two weeks, the drainage continued for about 7 or 8 weeks with little progress. My doctor then recommended that I try some silver alginate pads to speed up the recovery process. I had never heard of such a product, and was a little hesitant because the price was quite high. [The pads offered here on Amazon are much cheaper than they are elsewhere, but they are still not cheap compared to standard gauze dressings.] I bought them and tried them out.I put the silver pads directly on my wound and covered the pad with a standard gauze pad. I changed the dressing every two days rather than every day. My wound started showing visible improvement after 4 days of using the pad. After about ten days, the wound had significantly shrunk in size, and the drainage had nearly completely stopped. The wound was completely healed a few days later.I am very happy with the performance of these pads. I realize my experience with these pads will not necessarily be the same as everyone else's, but I still highly recommend this product.
