Kinivo K340 Premium 3-Port High Speed 4K HDMI Switch with IR Wireless Remote and AC Power Adapter - Supports Resolutions Up to 4K UltraHD & 3D

I was hesitant purchasing this product since there was no reviews. However, I did own the kinivo 301BN and had no problems with it, ever. I purchased the Kinivo 301BN approx. 3 years ago and have never unplugged it since. No issues. So I took a leap already knowing kinovo’s reputation for quality and long lasting products. The reason I ordered the kinivo k340 is because I was looking for a high speed switch that can be used for 4k content. I’ve had the switch for about 3 weeks now, and it works flawlessly just as I expected. It does the job, and the quality is excellent. I highly recommend this switch. The price is good, and it will last for years.

I asked a friend for help on this matter as I wouldn't know how to find something like this and he told me to look for an HDMI Splitter. When I asked him for a suggestion so I don't buy a bad one he told me to get this brand as that's the one he uses and it hs been excellent.

Bought this to replace a Kinivo K500 that lasted a couple years. As some of the reviews for that product noted, the ports go bad over time. First I lost port 1, then port 2. I only needed to plug in two devices so I was fine until ports 3-4 pooped out. We'll see if the new one is more reliable, but, not a great start, the power supply was DOA. I was able to use the power supply from the old one, so I didn't bother to return the unit. For now it works.

For the most part, it works perfectly. I am using it for my PS4 and Xbox One. When I turn one of them on, it automatically detects and switches to the new input. The remote does not work as well. Very direct line of sight and a shorter range is needed for it to work consistently, but that's still easier than getting up and walking over to press the physical button. The one issue that keeps it from being 5 stars is that occasionally (once every few hours), the screen will go black for 1-2 seconds and the sound drops out. So far this only seems to happen when connected to the Xbox One. It is as if it detects another input, tries to switch to it, realizes there is nothing to switch to, and comes back to the original input. Other than that small occasional issue, it works great.

I bought this because I do own a 5-port Kinivo, and I am very satisfied with this line of products, specially 4K HDMI switches. I do recommend any Kinivo switch either this one or the 5-port to anyone who is interested in getting an HDMI switch.NOTE that I am changing my review above. It is not really a 4K HDMI switch, for it fails to deliver 4K HDR video output from my newly bought Sony PS4 Pro, and this device doesn't support HDCP 2.2, which is required to work with the 4K HDR video output from my PS4 Pro. In fact, I tested all my cables directly to the 4K HDR TV, and I was able to get the video from my PS4 Pro indicating that the switch was downgrading the HDCP from 2.2 to 1.4. Thus, I am not longer recommending this device.

We purchased this due to our new television not having sufficient HDMI ports. This works extremely well and seamlessly shifts from wherever The signal is coming from without needing the remote. The remote works well, but I use this for swapping between video games systems so the auto switch is awesome!

I had a slight hiccup initially, and when I contacted the company, I had email response within hours. I only mention it to say the customer service was first rate.The kinivo k340 works great. It automatically switches as advertised and I don’t see any degradation in picture and sound.

Great works flawless switches automatically and has a remote in case your running multiple devices

Compact with easy setup. The remote needs to be close to unit to use. Picture quality is really good with inputs of laptop and sat box. Overall very good for the price.

Works as intended. I have my PS4 and my MacBook Pro routed through this to my 1080p monitor. Remote control works well and it does auto switch when I power on one of the devices. It also has a power button so you can shut the unit down entirely to save power.

Fantastic purchase, auto switching is nice. No lag, runs great. Can be used for streaming with an external capture card for quick switching. Highly recommend.
