Very dissapointing for Wow hydrate!
I literally have tried all of the wow hydrate protein waters and enjoyed them all, I only bought this vegan one because they were on offer, but it’s screwed me over out of the money spent on them now because I’ve given them more than a fair chance but I can’t stand them even from the first sip it tastes very acidic, even stings the tongue! Don’t waste your money!

Will do
I’ve got mixed feelings about this protein drink. These fruity squash type drinks are good for when you want to mix things up a bit by having something different and more refreshing than the usual protein shakes. This drink is ok, the content is good but don’t feel they have got it right with the flavour and balance. Initially it is pleasant and fruity but soon realise the berry flavour is quite strong and you get an aftertaste as well.Good amount of protein at 10g per serving and the mix is sugar free (sweetened by sucralose), great for before or after workout, the bottle is fitted with an easy flip top sports spout which is very handy for exercise. Looking at the ingredients they are fairly natural and guilt free with the no added sugar, great vegan option as well with the pea based protein content. I’m slightly baffled by the 50 calories per serving for a sugar free drink though.£24.99 (at the time of review) for 12x500ml bottles working out at just over £2 per bottle is not the gest of value but ok for a convenience option. The taste and balance would need to be better for me to want to buy this again and recommend.

lower quality and for what?
why are you selling stuff from 2023? Also is it meant to taste flat instead of like a normal soda consistency?

Way too sweet
This drink tastes like when you make a squash and don't use enough water to dilute it. It's a really strong sweet flavor, and I find it almost undrinkable, even as someone with a sweet tooth. The fact that the bottles have sports lids means that it's hard to add extra water in the bottle, so if I do finish these I probably will put them in a glass and add more water, which makes this much less convenient. This does have a good level of protein per bottle at 10 grams, and there is no thick texture, but it's just really hard to consume.

Awful taste and smell
I was so keen to try these. I loved the idea of:- vegan, pea-based protein- low cal- sugar-free- electrolytes- berry flavourHowever - I found the taste and the smell of it incredibly unpleasant. It's really sweet and really strong...and something else unpleasant that I can't put my finger on or describe.I thought it may have just been me but no one in this household could drink more than two sips (and that was well-refrigerated - I can't imagine how awful it tastes unchilled!)I can see some other reviewers really like it. But it's not for me at all. And, although I listed some things at the start of this review that I was keen on before I'd tried a taste of it, the fact that I can't stomach it at all means I really can't give it any more than 1 star.

Not for me...
Unfortunately, myself and everyone in my house aren't a fan of these protein water drinks. The taste is far to strong and sweet. It's almost likes it's undiluted.I like that it's vegan and the packaging is good, and each bottle is a decent size. It's just not very nice. Each to their own though, someone else might like them.

Great product
Great value for money, I drink these every Saturday and have done for the last 2 years, the vegan flavour is new to me and it's just as nice as the others. I usually get these individually out of the vending machine in my gym and they cost me 2.89 each in the machines so this 12 pack is definitely great value for money and they really do help your workout.I also recommend their electrolyte drink although I'm not sure if they're vegan.
