Purchased this fan during the recent heatwave for the car to hellp keep dogs cool. Suction is strong and I positioned the fan on the rear side window, behind the passenger seat. The length of cord is such that it reached back to the cigarette lighter at the front of the car. The fan can be directed at an angle of choice. A bit fiddly to do this at first as you have to unscrew a piece of plastic to give the fan movement, then tighten it when fan in place. Soon got used to it. So, fan directed onto rear seat where dogs lie and strong enough to move the dogs fur. Certainly helped.

We have a small dog (Cavalier) who is very old and has been suffering in the summer heat, so we thought we would get a 12v fan to plug into the car and help circulate the air conditioning to the back seat to try and stop him panting. We needed the fan quickly as a long car trip was coming up and were pleasantly surprised when the email turned up a few days later saying it was ready at the collection point. First impressions were how compact the box seemed, but once out of the box the fan size looked reasonable and very well guarded against an inquisitive nose. The suction pad is very large, so it can be securely clamped to a passenger window without risk of falling off. I opted for the two speed fan and that was enough for our purposes. In fact the flow of air on minimum has turned out to be the best setting, providing a fairly focused stream that cools him down and stops him panting in no time.We are so impressed with this little fan that we now realise it has future potential beyond cooling the dog. I have purchased an inexpensive 12V adaptor and intend to use it as a travelling fan that can be run in hotel rooms (the fan only draws 4 watts so a 1 or 2 amp adaptor would give adequate power). We did a tour of Europe last year when the weather was very hot and some of the hotel rooms were so stifling that this would have been a godsend if we had it with us. The very useful sucker should stick to any smooth surface such as a table top, and you then have instant cooling.

I bought this for warm nights in my campervan and didn't hold much hope for it being any good to be honest, but it was cheap so I thought what the hell I'll give it a go!To my surprise and delight it is exactly what I needed and works a treat and is actually quite powerful but you can control the speed really well. For what I need it is perfect and I'm really happy with how it works and the fact that is quite small too so packs away no bother. Great little fan! Well recommended!

This is an excellent product. This 4.5" fan is big enough to be effective but not as dominant as the 6" fans. I bought his because it has a variable speed control from almost stopped to very strong and on the slower settings it cools you but can hardly be heard. We use this in the back of our estate car to blow cool air onto our dog and the gentle settings are perfect. Although the car has Aircon this ensures he get some blowing over him. The on/off switch also means we don't have to plugging and unplugging it. I was aware this was one of the most expensive fans for its size but it seems to be well made and good quality.

Excellent, UK truck driver here, been using this over the summer months with all kinds of dust and dirt in the cab, it's been knocked about etc but has been total reliable. The fan puts out a decent amount of power (truckers get the 24 v one) I couldnt be without it now as it circulates air nicely even in winter I can use this to circulate warm air and it feels good. Highly recommended !! Don't know why the negative reviews this has been excellent!!

Excellent, great product and well worth the money it really does push the air around, it's just what I was looking for to keep my German Sheppard cool so am more than happy with it. This company are very fair and good to deal with and I will buy from them again. It arrived well ahead of time and was well packed.

Fan is strong and generally well built but the rubber suction cup is a very thick cheap rubber which just does not stay stuck on very well! Even with wetting the suction pad it still falls off very quickly. If the suction pad was a thinner silicone like the one that holds my mobile phone on it would be far more effective. Shame!

Great fan. Even on low speed, shifts some air...Fitted to passenger side, and then with passenger window open a little, fan draws in fresh air and blows across car on to me driving...Hot days just ramp up speed to high and great cooling...You do need to really wet sucker for the window, to make a solid suction.. Long power cable, so could easily be fitted to passenger side window if you wanted to increase the flow of fresh air.
