Ok look...I am not a review writer. I normally enjoy success in silence. But THIS product deserves a review. If I can help just one person make an educated purchase, then I've done a small justice for the world. I had extremely low expectations. I've had professional laser hair removal for my face several times in the past. It was expensive. I think I spent a total of $1500 dollars on it and, yes it worked extremely well, but it was so painful for me. A little history: I have PCOS, but it manifests in a very atypical way. The only "textbook" symptom I have is excess facial hair. And let me tell you, it's very noticeable when left untreated. Well, unfortunately, I'm also someone that reacts horribly to laser hair removal. I legitimately have an allergic reaction to the laser. I get weird raised bumps and whiteheads and my face swells super bad. So, after doing it for about a year, I couldn't handle the pain and recovery anymore. When my face healed, my skin looked amazing. The blemishes from constant tweezing and picking even cleared up and I got so many compliments on my skin. But, as most may know, no hair removal is permanent and since I gave up on the laser hair removal, my hair slowly started to regrow in thickness. It's bound to happen since I have higher levels of testosterone. I had been pretty desperate for an alternative treatment. I had gone back to tweezing and shaving, but the hair grew back quickly and my skin was just getting damaged again. I did pretty extensive research and decided to take my chances on this device. I really didn't have anything to lose but a few hundred bucks. To my surprise, it worked. Now, I don't know if it worked well because of my history with laser hair removal and perhaps the follicle was already altered. I also went against all advice and for the first several weeks I used it almost every day on the highest setting. I do not recommend everyone do this, as I did this at my own risk, and I was well aware of the risk I was taking. But my threshold for pain is high and let me tell you this was nothing compared to the pain that I had felt with professional laser hair removal. I almost enjoy the slight popping sensation that it gives when in use. My only regret is that I didn't take before and after photos. I really wish I could show proof of efficacy. My advice is for anybody that uses this, be patient, the results are not instant but they are quick. I think I noticed a big difference within the first couple of weeks. Again, I took a risk and utilized it every day. I do not recommend that, but for me it worked and it didn't cause any complications. I am down to using it about every other day to every couple of days. I am now to the point where I am maybe tweezing one or two hairs on my chin and only shaving the days I use this device because shaving is a requirement prior to use. But if I didn't have to shave prior to using this device, I probably wouldn't at all because there's zero hair growth. I am not exaggerating at all. Beyond the couple of hairs that I'm tweezing here and there, I see no more hair growth. This is coming from somebody that was practically growing a beard. My facial hair has been my only real insecurity - because admittedly - I'm conventionally attractive, so I've been told. I'm in great physical shape, I have conventionally attractive features, so concealing this embarrassing issue has been quite the challenge. This honestly saved my life. I know that seems a bit dramatic, but I was feeling very hopeless in getting rid of the hair growing from my face until I stumbled across this. I am so much more confident now that I no longer even wear makeup to try to conceal the 5 o'clock shadow that I was experiencing towards the end of the day. I'm not guaranteeing that my results are the standard or that anyone else may experience similar results. For all I know I could be a huge exception or an anomaly. But I can say with full faith and confidence that this definitely helped me, and if you're in any type of position that I was in, you understand that feeling of hopelessness. If you're already at that point of hopelessness then what do you have to lose by trying it out?

Let me start by including my details. I am a mixed white/hispanic male with pretty light complexion but carry a light tan at most times. I have dark hair and my legs are fairly hairy. I recently started working out pretty hardcore and I don't enjoy the sweat with my hairy legs, especially my upper legs. I've been shaving them or using a hair removal cream for a couple of years, while it works, it is time consuming. I started getting the Ulike ads shoved down my throat on tiktok for a few months. I definitely was curious but figured, like most things on social media that are sponsored, it was a money grab. I spent some time doing some research and the reviews were definitely mixed. So I figured with Amazon's return policy, I'd give it a shot.I've used it a month now and I will say this, with consistent use I am noticing a difference! However, please be aware it is not as simple as it is marketed online. You MUST shave before each use, the reasoning makes sense but for me is not comfortable, my upper legs are very sensitive after a fresh shave and trying to shave 2 days later with minimal hair is uncomfortable and can be painful. Now, this device is marketed as pain free and it definitely is, IF you have prepared correctly by shaving. If the area you are using this on is not completely shaven, as you go over the area and little hair that might still be there will "singe" as you hit it with the laser. It's not extremely painful but it can cause some discomfort. I will agree though, if shaved correctly, there is no pain whatsoever and the cooling feature is nice. The instructions also state to start with every other day use, I noticed better results using it daily (not every day but more often then recommended).My final thoughts are; this item is pricey, I understand laser hair removal is way more expensive and time consuming but this route still requires a decent investment with both money and time. If you have the time to dedicate to consistent use, then I would recommend giving it a shot. Currently, I am impressed with the results but just don't have the time to continue proper use, so for the time being, I will return and maybe repurchase in the future!

Use it consistently and it works! Fastest results on the finer hairs on my face. Slower on under arms but has gotten rid of my in growns!Slows hair regrowth, hair grows back finer or not at all.I read a lot of reviews before selecting Ulike. The sapphire cooling in the flash window is key to allowing you to not burn your skin.The glasses broke about a year in and they sent me replacements. So A+ customer service!

This did not work at ALL. I’ve been religiously using this - every other day - for 2 months and have zero change in my hair growth. My hair is brown, and by all standards this should have worked. I tried to return it but missed the window by a couple days. The window isn’t long enough to even know if it works or not. Total waste of money.

It’s good for small area however you gotta be careful. For me, the area I use this product I get a lot of ingrown hairs.
