Love it
I bought this to go in my little girls Christmas Eve box, she is almost 2 so maybe a bit too young to appreciate it yet but it’s something we can get out and play with next year too. I love that it’s interactive and my little girl loved inspecting all the shapes. It is beautifully designed.

Great Christmas gifts
I bought these for Christmas gifts for my 3yr old and for family and friends children - great idea to combine a puzzle and a story book

More challenging in places than you might think, for any age group!
Brightly coloured to attract the young eye, this is a board book & puzzle combined.Set out in double page spread format, there are a few lines of clear text on each of the three chunky left hand pages with the added challenge of looking for the 5 correct puzzle pieces from the 15 included to answer the questions asked, on the other page. The thick cardboard, double-sided puzzle pieces are quite tight fitting, especially when new, and, despite the finger indentation, are very hard to extract for little fingers, in my experience. Also, the pieces only go in one way which, although obvious for some shapes, e.g. from the first picture, the ‘Candy Cane’ & the ’Carrot’, is not so much so with the ‘Mince Pie’, the ‘Gingerbread Man’ & the Cookie’, which I have found to be more than a little frustrating with some younger participants. Looking the same on both sides, there is no obvious indicator, and it has caught a good few adults out too!ooOoo~ TITLE: LET'S PRETEND CHRISTMAS~ AUTHOR: ROGER PRIDDY~ ILLUSTRATOR: SAMANTHA MEREDITH~ PRIDDY BOOKS/ST MARTIN’S PRESS~ 2017‘Suitable for 3+’‘Manufactured in China’‘priddy books ~ big ideas for little people’ooOooThe item measures around 27.75 cm x 24 cm x 3 cm with a durable ‘Velcro’-type close (last image below refers).Inside, the top contains the 15 good sized cardboard puzzle pieces in a resealable, transparent plastic-type tray that doubles as a part window on the front. If care is taken on opening this area initially, i.e. an adult rather than eager little fingers, the puzzle pieces can be returned to it for safe storage for another time, also in my experience. The base is the book which has three thick, durable board pages, with rounded edges. The three topics are:~ At the North Pole. Can you find the missing Festive Food?~ In the toy workshop. Can you find the missing toys?~ Christmas Day/Can you find the missing decorations? The brightly coloured pictures have lots to talk about in general and have some additional simple questions, too, e.g.:~ ‘Can you find three pots of paint, Santa’s list and a toy penguin?’, in The Toy Workshop. The front cover also asks if you can find the little yellow bird with the blue hat on each page, too, which is an added dimension for the very young. One of a series that currently also includes:PLAY SHOPCHEF'S KITCHENON THE FARMDOCTORS BAGANIMAL RESCUEBUILDER'S TOOL KITPRINCESS PARTY SETRACE DRIVER SET[24 images attached © Priddy Books & ST MARTIN’S PRESS/2017]

Super cute puzzle book
Love this book! So much to do with it. My 1 year old is still a bit too young for the activities in this book, but he loves holding up the different shapes and gets so excited when matching them to the puzzle piece.
