Quality construction; GREAT “staying power”
Yes, patience essential for the initial placement. Subsequent placements become easier. These adhere very well, lasting ~15 days, despite summer heat and daily showers. I prefer the clear covers so they are less apparent under lightweight clothing. No skin irritation noted (pale skin). Adhesive removal pads or GooGone eassily removes any residue. NOTE: While appreciate the foresight, convenience & cleanliness of each provided in an individual Ziplock-type bag (to maintain cleanliness/avoid backing strips from peeling away while in depths of swim bags/ wallets/purses, probably), it does seem a bit costly to package them as such (maybe individual, thin waxed paper packets?). Highly recommend for adhesion with minimal residue, inconspicuousness when in place, value for money and excellent application guidance.

Added support
Exactly what I needed for added support. I am allergic to most medical adhesives but not to these. I have no issues for all 10 days. Does not bubble up or peel if placed correctly. Easy to see to peel.

Fit perfectly and extend the life of the sensor adhesive!
My husband uses these patches to prolong the life of his sensor. He can get an extra week of wear using these to reinforce the adhesive that attaches the sensor to his body. The patches fit perfectly and are easily applied. He sometimes has me help apply a new patch if his sensor is in a spot he can't reach easily. The patches are waterproof and stay stuck on until he's ready to remove them.

Great product but might cause skin irritation
It is a great product. It holds fantastically and works very well. Unfortunately I am allergic to the adhesive that they use. Have never had a problem with allergies to Band-Aids or anything like that before. But whatever they use for this long last good hold adhesive does turn my skin red and keeps it irritated for a while. Even when I placed a patch on for just about an hour and removed it I have a red spot on my arm that has lasted for a few days. So definitely spot check put on a pouch and try it for a while before you leave one on for a long time.

Totally lasts the entire 10 days of sensor life
These are absolutely the best over patch you can buy. I put them on and take showers ( being real trying not to have it water too much) and totally last the whole 10 days. Very easy to apply

Actually works
Actually sticky and holds up well! My husband has tried everything to keep his G7 intact while working in the summer heat and sweating and this does the trick!

They simply WORK.
These over patches are the best on the market. I have used them all. The simple design works the best and I have never had a problem with them. If I was the CEO of Dexcom I would buy the company and include this product with those we have and offer them to our own customers. I

Very difficult to remove
Now, does it stick on? 100000%. And, that is the problem. This is like superglue and so thin that it is very easy to apply flat to your skin. It looks like a second skin. Downside is that only makes it that much more stuck to your skin. I only wore it one day because by weird coincidence, it was one day to switching out the sensor. But, I needed a patch so tried this one since it arrived the day prior. Fast forward to today, it was DIFFICULT to get this off. Even with adhesive remover, it was so stuck on the skin and painful to remove. Doing this alone? Forget that and have someone help you. I cannot even imagine how stuck on this would be after 14 days. It left gummy residue that I need to figure out how to get off. And, I am left with a red mark. Whether it was an allergic reaction to the adhesive or just the aftermath of me trying to remove the patch, I don’t know. I won’t be finding out again. In the trash this went. I’d rather deal with the cloth like patches that may come off after a few days but at least I am not going through what I went with this product. And, yes, it will remove your sensor when removing if the patch even touches the small stick on surrounding the sensor.
