Filled it up with hot water and used it for stomach cramps, lower back pain, sore knee and just hugging when it gets cold. I get muscle spasm and sore muscles especially for my shoulder and back very frequently and this soothes the pain and also helps to relax the muscles. Cover is nice and smooth. Love how it is flexible enuf to rest nicely on my back and etc. Great quality.However, I find that the cover is a little troublesome to remove as I have to reach my hands in to fold the bottle to get it out of the cover totally. Prefer having the cover on whenever I use it so I only took it out once when i first received to check it out. I do get a little water on the cover whenever I try to fill it but doesn't really bothers me as it dries out pretty fast within few minutes.Overall I am very satisfied with the product I've received and the customer service that answered to my many questions.

This is a high quality got water bottle! My first choice from my collection of about seven different ones. Because it is BIG, because it is soft and flexible, and because it holds heat all night, and still is slightly warm in the morning.My cats enjoy it too -- they locate it under the covers and sit on it.One star off because the white fuzzy cover -- which I paid extra for -- has no fasteners or velcro, rendering it virtually unusable. You have to fold the empty HWB and wiggle it into a small opening in the top of the cover. Then try to figure out a way to get the hot water IN, while keeping the cover DRY. Too complicated for bedtime.

Way nicer than I expected. It's huge and very heavy when filled with water. I don't put so much water in it now. The white furry cover feels wonderful. I haven't used boiling water in it. I have just used hot tap water in it -- about 120 degrees F.

I’ve only had this for a year and the lining on the rubber started to leak. Burned me and terrible quality for the price. Not sturdy at all. Wish I could get a refund but doubt it’ll be possible.

I don't like using heaters because of the dry air and AC costs. This is perfect for keeping me warm all night. I put it under my blankets before I go to bed so that my bed is warm by the time I go to bed. If it gets too warm under the blankets with the addition of body heat sometime during the night, I just push the hot water bottle away from me and then come morning, when it gets colder, I pull it closer. It's perfect!

The zipper on the cover (at the bottom end of the bottle) is crap. Broke at the first fill of the bottle

I like the size of it, however, even with the fleece cover removed, the ribbed outer skin reduces contact to the skin and therefore, the hot water in the bottle does not feel hot from the outside of the bag. In other words, if it has a smooth rubber outer surface you would feel more heat. The cheap 2 quart hot water bottles with smooth outer rubber get hotter than this one.

This is a high quality, heavy duty European-style hot water bottle that comes with the softest, coziest cover! High quality product and the delivery was very quick. I couldn't be more pleased.

I am a hot water devotee. I found my smaller ones were losing heat and just not big enough. So I bought this and oh boy its HUGE. It's a good 1/3 bigger than the standard hot water bottles! Plus it has a lovely soft cover that lets you tuck your feet or hands under. So far so great. I'd definitely recommend it.

I only deducted a star because I feel it's very expensive, but I guess it's worth it, because the heat does retain for much longer than other hot water bottles I've tried, plus I love the fuzzy cover (I just leave the cover on to fill it up, super easy). The large size is nice because it covers a larger area. I boil a whole kettle of water and pour it in this and it gives a nice heavy weight for resting on my back, but even more water could fit in this.I used to use an electric heating pad every night to fall asleep with, but after it stopped working, I decided to go the old fashioned route because I had high inflammation levels and was diagnosed in Chinese Medicine with damp/heat (I was told to stay away from heat for extended periods of time) and I researched that using heat for too long can actually make inflammation worse. I wasn't expecting this hot water bottle to last for so long, I actually have to take it off after an hour so I don't overdo the heat! It stays warm all night literally, it would be perfect for someone who needs it for warming up the bed overnight.

Love this hot water bag! Its large but not overly so. Keeps the water hot for long periods - if let uncovered, the heat lasts a good 3-4 hours, but if covered (say, under the bed cover), lasts good 5-6 hours!

I will not support animal cruelty. I did not see a mention about this item having a fur cover. I am so sorry to have bought this item.The bottle did not retain heat for very long, much shorter than the claims.

Love the XXL size and well made. The cover were you put your feet is very basic may tear easily. Priced at the high end.
