I'm wondering if the item will have to be hand washed in order to get the paint/ink off? I want to put the item in a dishwasher.

Does this pen work for meal prep glass container? Will not desapear while in the freezer?

Great question. Yes these will work in the freezer.  The ink is removable but sturdy enough to withstand some moisture and even a light shower when used on outdoor exterior glass or signs.
