50ml Volumetric Flask, 3.3 Boro Glass, Class A, Ground Stopper, Karter Scientific 252X3 (Pack of 2)

This is a well made volumetric flask that accurately measures 10mL. Compared to purchasing at science supply shops, their price is reasonably good.

I have been teaching chemistry for 27 years. These volumetric flasks fit the bill for teaching students how to make diluted solutions! The flasks were perfect quality, arrived well-packaged and are perfect for my classroom needs.

I've been using this for a few months now and have had no problems with cracking even with major sudden temperature changes. It's not super heavy duty, but I'm not a heavy duty chemist. It's sturdy enough for regular casual use, and great for making and storing simple syrup!

I got the 10 ml and they arrived without damage. The 10 ml is the perfect size for my recreational purposes. They didn’t crack or warp when I heated them up with a torch. I was able to blow a hole in one of them although it took a little longer than I expected and it does take longer than usual for the glass to cool down. I assume it’s because the glass is thicker than what I normally use. All in all it does the trick and was worth the money.

I weighed the volume of both flasks on a calibrated scale and both flasks were within their stated accuracy of +- 0.1 mL. The glass stoppers fit well and retain water within the flasks. Good deal.

This is my second Karter Scientifc Volumetric Flask that purchase; I also have a pair of 500 ml flasks. I am no scientist, I use them at home for various projects and they stand up well to casual home use. The glass seems very durable and it comes with a glass stopper that fits in the top of the beaker. I'm very happy with the product.

I love these little flasks! They arrived intact and I have used them for roughly 6 months now and they are very sturdy. Probably not the conventional use, but I use these to keep my salt and pepper in. They are so cute and a great conversation started for a Chemistry lover like myself.

Un matraz me llegó con el tapón de vidrio estrellado, además el vidrio de los matraces presenta rayones que le restan estética. Todavía no los sometos a ciclos de calentamiento y enfriamiento, espero resistan bien.

Confié en las valoraciones pero los matraces llegaron sucios y uno llegó con la tapa esmerilada rota, se ven usados. Coincide con la descripción pero no en buenas condiciones
