I was having challenges getting in and out of my car, it is really low to the ground. I saw this and thought for the price, why not give it a try? Oh my gosh!! The grip is super comfortable in your hand. It supports my full weight. ( I am 6 feet tall and weigh 175lbs). It fits neatly into pocket on the door of my car. I pray I never need the seatbelt cutting part of it, but just in case, I have one handy. I promise if you order this, you will NOT be disappointed. It has really changed my routine, and I can keep my little sports car! (OH!! Please make sure you have the square type door closure on the door frame of your car. Some cars only have a peg style and this will NOT work if you have a peg style door closure on the frame of your car).

Be aware of this product does not fit in a Lincoln town car 1984, or a GMC 1500 1997 l Hyundai 2015. The required loop in the door jam is not fitted on these vehicles, and probably not over the range of any of the vehicles as mentioned above. Check the illustrations before purchasing to ensure that you have the loop they refer to. Item returned

Great item for those of us getting up in years. I forget where I first heard of it, but I take it whenever I might need it to ride in another person's vehicle. I bought my first one several months ago. Then recently, I used it when I rode in a friend's van and saw that he had the same problem. So I let him try it, and he loved it. So I gave him mine, and ordered a second one for my self to replace the one I gave away. The price is right, so you don't go broke. It is like my American Express Card -- don't leave home without it.

I wasn’t sure if this car door handle would work in my car or if it would work the way the ad says. I was pleasantly surprised that it fit in the opening of my car door and really does help getting out on the passenger side of my car. It was a great buy.

My mother uses a walker; this definitely makes it easier for her to get in and out of my car. When I purchased this, I did not even realize that is could also be used for emergencies like breaking the window or cutting the seat belt. That was an awesome surprise. The only reason I did not do 5 stars is because, even after I put this in the door handle, I still needed to hold unto it to make sure it did not accidentally slip out when my mom was getting in or out of the car.

I had a bad terrible fall and broke my leg. Getting into our SUV, I needed a handle at my side so I could boost myself into the seat. This gadget makes the transfer safe. Highly recommend.

Love, love, love this item. Recently broke my leg and dislocated my ankle. I only own a truck and this had helped me so much. I am able to lock this onto the door frame and hoist myself up. It has been a lifesaver!

Excellent product if you have issues getting out of a vehicle. nonslip grip and it’s easy to us. Just removed from door latch andthen lay in the seat for the next trip in your car. I highly recommend.
