I really like this stuff. I'm no expert at nutrition so I won't bore you with anything that I copied from somewhere or from someone else. But I will tell you that I'm told it's very good for you and that no matter how I use it, it adds a nice flavor (different and unexpected at first) to whatever I put it with. I mix some in with soups, stews, salads, into mashed potatoes and I even mixed it in with some V8 juice once. I quit taking statins because I kept getting weaker and weaker. My left leg was really getting bad. I had to find something else to help me with my cholesterol problem. So, about a year ago I heard about this stuff and decided to quit the statins and give this stuff a try. After a couple of months (really) my strength was almost back and a few months after that I could easily walk without a cane. Once, when I ran out, I had to go without it for a few days and I actually missed it. Glad Amazon got it to me quickly. Oh, I also use Bragg's Mother Vinegar. Wow! Maybe I'll live to be 100. Of course, it might help if I quit smoking too!.
