Unfortunately, I have had the plastic ones for years and they yellowed and became brittle. I was excited to find these because the are a permanent solution. However, the screw holes did not match up with the ones I have and because it is mounted on fiberglass, I will have to repair the fiberglass first and then re-drill the holes. Fiberglass tends to crumble so you cannot drill one hole right next to another. If you are not trying to match holes to a similar cup holder you will be fine. These are very nice and well made. They look like they would last for years.

Used 220 grit to give mine a brushed look. I liked the results. I have a tiller handle outboard, so when I drive and want to put down my water i now have a place to put it so it doesn't roll around all over the floor. I wish it was spring loaded. I have to lower the front then pull up the ribs and spread them apart (its not easy with one hand) if it is not already set to the width you used last time.

Description says cups up to 78mm. Problem is that the product images on Amazon don't show the very stiff "flaps" which make it impossible to fit anything larger than D60mm without wedging it in. Disappointed.

Won't hold anything much larger in diameter than a beer can. If you put a cozy on your drink it won't fit in this cup holder. The outside appearance is nice, just wish it was larger.

We replaced our boat cupholders twice before we bought these. These are so rugged I anticipate them lastly the lifetime of the boat. Worth the price, wish I would have bought these first.

Decent quality for reasonable price but it will only hold up to a regular can of beer without any kind of Cooley and does not hold a yeti cup or similar .

We needed to replace the broker beverage holders in our RV and these worked perfect. Durable and they look very nice.
