Audio people give this a read
Thought I would post a review for all you people out there who have questions. Firstly, these mics are rather good, and the casings around them is pretty sturdy. I can't comment on people saying that theirs didn't work because mine did. They will work with a phone headphone jack as long as you have a TRRS mic in. It will give you two mics which you can record with into your phone for interviews and what not, and it will sound much better than your phone's microphone. The cables are utterly massive. They are really big. The cables aren't extremely thick, but they will last for a while I'm sure, and the mics are very robust. The connector is soldered in an interesting way. Since TRRS have only one channel for the microphone, the cable is wired for this, sending both mics into one channel. This isn't a problem for interviews or recording music, but if you need stereo channels and each mic on it's own channel, then these probably aren't for you. It is easily fixed if you know a bit about wiring, but if that's what you are looking for, don't get these, you will only get two mics on a mono track.Other than that, I do recommend these mics they are very good. However the company has not gotten back to me after I pressed them on the issue I had above. So be aware of that if you are thinking of getting these.I would like to give this product a positive review because it is a great product, unfortunately that the false advertising of this company led me to believe I was getting something that although great for interviews, was not the product they told me I would be getting.

I love this dual mic set
I love this dual mic set. It took me forever to figure out how to set it up but once I did I was so happy with it. Cannot believe the price for the quality. Just a tip...If you are going to use it with your phone camera you will need to download a camera app that allows to switch to using an external mic. I use Open Camera app. Also, to hear back the recording you will need to unplug the cord from the phone. Another thing, when I record with my computer webcam it gets rid of this loud annoying sound of my fan. The clips are a sturdy metal too and it comes with two spare mics. I am extremely happy with it!

Decent mics
These were decent mics, but they are not binaural. I tried to record with them on two different phones and three seperate apps. They only recorded mono sound. I tried them with my Rebel t5i camera. The camera recognized that the mics were plugged in, but didnt record any audio from them. The sound quality was decent, but I ended up returning them because they do not record sound binaurally

There is no problem working with the mic set. Just plug and play. However, the audio doesn't catch low tones and is very omni-directional - picks up other noises if you are in a noisy area. These won't work for what I had planned to use them for.

Good for audio wired interview with 2 people
Sinced wired it is good for shutting out background sound (that you get with a handheld mic) and the lapel mics are shared with one wire. The wire is very long and gets tangled easily but inconvenience of untangling can be tolerated and worked out. Nicely packaged with all you may need to work with your camera/camcorder/phone etc. if you have an iPhone 7 just buy the plug adapter that Apple sells for headphones/mics.

None of the mics work
I bought two products from Igear. This dual head for my samsung S6 and the go pro single mic. The Go Pro one works perfectly, no complaints. But the this one, the dual head is not working, none of the mics works. I tried with different phones, samsung and apple and even tried to use different recording apps to see if that would fix the problem but it seems to be a product issue from factory. Looking forward to receive any answer from the seller as I bought this to make some videos for my work and that is really bothering me.

One Star
the product does not work or the camera and not the iPhone or other mobile phone. The product does not match what was advertised. It does not work in cameraand not on my cell phone . Apparently it needs to be powered to operate. Ibought the product because I needed something that I could use with 2people at the same time and I was not happy. Now I'm buying a XLR adapterwith the female to see if I can use the product properly. Did not like.

The product works great..
The product works great... it picks up from a distance... I have attached it to an IPad so my mother can hear... it picks up the words that people say and writes them on the screen so she can hear... she is almost 100% deaf... so I am very pleased with the product...

The mics have a low noise level but are a bit harsh in the higher frequencies.THIS IS IMPORTANT:Despite the TRRS you won't get two independent channels out of those, the cable that leads to the TRRS connector joins left and right already on the ring adjacent to the sleeve. The sleeve itself is the common ground. The TRRS seems to chosen only so that it works with mobile phones, for what it actually does a TS, would have been sufficient. A friend was so kind as to cut and resolder the cables to a TRS connector now I see a stereo signal on my zoom H1. Before I saw nothing on the zoom H1 plugging in directly the TRRS and only one mono signal when using the adaptor that comes with it.
