Bluewave Replacement Dispenser Spigot Valve - White

I had a glass water dispenser with a bad spout on it so I ordered this one to replace it. The opening on the glass jug was smaller then the new spout so I had to enlarge it with a Dremel tool. Once I got the new spout in it worked great.

I've used these before and they are more durable than other brands I've used and have a wider nozzle that speeds up flow, but they also seem to require a break in period during which they are prone to leaks. Usually that ends within a few weeks.

The water bottle that I have is the Bluewave 3 gallon bottle. The spigot on this bottle lasted almost 6 years. My first replacement was the Spicket that is distributed by Goldwell enterprises. This literally lasted six months. The reason it failed was it started to leak unprovoked. The second purchase I made of the same Spigot from the same distribution company was early July. The spigot has lasted only a month and a half to find out once again that has failed and it is leaking. Goldwell Enterprises really need to do their homework on this product and quit selling product that is failing in such a short time. My suggestion is not to buy this until they get their act together from a quality control perspective.

Mine leaks ever so slightly at the valve(not where it connects to the bottle, that part is fine). Which is fine for me as I put it on a square camping water bottle so I just store the bottle with the spigot facing up. I'm too lazy at this point to fix it. The valve has good flow rate.

I think I like it better than the one I had ( a push bottom) you can flip the handle and don't have to hold it
