This is good filament! Even at normal temps (low for silk) this stuff gives an incredible finish. If I run my finger nail down the side of a print it’s obvious that the print is smoother than a regular pla. I added a little retraction before the wipe and have no issues with stringing. It seems to perform very well and is pretty temperature tolerant. Running it at high speeds is not an issue, it always prints well. It’s great for string art prints, it bridges like a dream. Overall I’ve been very happy with this filament it has become a staple for me and I always have a roll on hand. Something I like about it versus other silk silver is it’s a very slightly lighter color than others. Almost reminiscent of 304 stainless steel.

I bought two rolls of Silk Black in 2021 and just now, in 2023, opened up a roll. Still well sealed. See pic, printed on a Bambu Lab X1C on standard (still 200-300 mm/s). There's some stringing between the posts in the courtyard, but nothing you can't fix with a quick hit from a heat gun. This stuff prints beautifully and seems like more of a graphite or gunmetal, almost looks powder coated. No issues with bed or layer adhesion, prints are strong, stringing is minimal and could probably be tuned out with slicer settings.Pretty cool finish, I love the graphite color. Works great for dice towers, at least, would probably look great on sci-fi prop parts (SW, video game props, etc). Definitely recommended.

Got this filament in. Immediately opened it. Printed a small filament swatch to add to the collection, printed a 20x20 calibration cube. Then printed this T-800 for a gift for a Terminator fan friend. This is the first filament I've found that silk silver truly looks like metal. It's GORGEOUS. And I only got into 3D printing in the spring and will go weeks at a time without printing anything so I'm still new at it. Tried about a dozen-ish brands and about 3.5 dozen colors. This is one of the easiest to print with and honestly, it matches Hatchbox in my first impression of the brand. It's seriously good. If my next color choice from Ziro matches this quality/color/ease of use, then Ziro is moving into my top 3 filament brands.Setup - FLSUN Super Racer with MicroSwiss Dual Gear Bowden Extruder, MicroSwiss CM2 0.6 Nozzle, Capricorn Bowden Tube, FYSETC PEI build plate.Settings - 180c print temp, 60c bed (these settings worked great for ME and are my normal settings for PLA, your printer, even a FLSUN SR, will likely use different settings, just posting these to give more info to those looking at this filament).All in all, just super thrilled, this is going to be my new go-to silk silver filament and I'm super excited to at some point try their silk gold as it looks more metal-ish than the brand I've been using.

I got silk red. The color is really nice. It prints fantastic on my Ender 3 v2 for the most part. Ghosting is much more pronounced because of the silky effect. Honestly I really love this filament except for one small thing:This filament is rather slick, and a tad brittle, causing the extruder to slip and/or grind on occasion (ie, with a lot of retractions). For example when printing the lattice cube with normal settings that work fine for other filaments, about an hour in, the multiple retractions are just too much for this filament. Granted I’m on a Bowden setup, so that doesn’t help. (upgraded metal single gear extruder, Capricorn tube). If it helps anyone else, I just had to set my retraction down to 5mm @ 20mm/s, which on my setup left some light stringing, but not that bad, and helped with the extruder slipping. Still not 100% relatable though and I’m scared to run it unless I’m right there watching the whole print.

I got this filament by recommendation from another user and man, I am impressed. This is a review for the silver silk and it prints like a dream. I am running it on a Prusa MK4 printed a little bit hot at 225°C and slow on the outside perimeters at 40mm/s and it comes out super shiny and metallic. I printed this lightsaber that I designed and wanted a polished aluminum look without painting and this filament delivers. Now I wish I would have grabbed some of the gold as well. You can see compared to the overture gold silk, the Ziro shines and the overture is dull.It’s very easy to print with, and came well packaged and vacuum sealed. It also came with 2 filament samples, one being a cleaning filament (awesome!) and an additional resealable ziplock bag to store it after you initially open it.Great job on this Ziro! I’ll be back for more!

In eerste instantie had ik dit filament 4 sterren gegeven omdat ik in de veronderstelling was dat ik goudkleurig had besteld en ik het iets te rood vond. Blijkt dat ik "Rood Koper" had besteld! Dan klopt de kleur helemaal. Dus prima filament, print goed en mooie kleur!

A lovely silky violet PLA. I am very pleased with the end result for this filament.Printed quite a few things with it now and find it adheres to bed nicely and top layer always looks nice.Attached a pic for you to see end result.
