Q: how to re-settiing the time

The directions below are right. After you depress the upper left button you have to depress the lower left button until it says time. It is hard to see since it is so small. After you see "time", depress the upper left button again. The directions were written by a sadist and are impossible to understand. I could not set the watch when I first got it. My son had to and even he had trouble.

Yes, I purchased this watch for my son six months ago and he wears it every day while surfing. He’s very happy with it.

Q: What is the back of the case made of?.. I am allergic to stainless steal.

It's made of stainless steel unfortunately.

Hold in LIGHT button for five seconds. Use MODE button to cycle through modes (light, chime, hour format, hours, minutes, seconds, AM/PM) and use button on right to cycle up/down.
