I was so excited when I came across these. We have a chalkboard wall section my fiance uses for work and to do lists but he constantly breaks the chalk. So I was excited to get these. The pro's are that it keeps the chalk from breaking and no more dust and residue on your hands and fingers. Having said that, the erasers are cheap and better left out but I pretty much knew that from the picture. If it's for kids then you're good. The quality is far below what I expected. I didn't have huge expectations but for almost $20 I expected them to be better. They are a fraction too small for the average chalk which was the most frustrating part of it all. I had a box of Crayola chalk colors I bought them for. I put them in and thought awesome and went to try them out. As soon as I moved the angle of my hand the chalk slid out and cracked on the floor 🤦. I'm not going to by special chalk for so-so holders so I took my clear nail builder gel and made a thin swipe inside two opposing tongs of the grabber and cured with my UV light and perfect! You could probably use anything similar like regular nail polish just not too thick or the chalk won't fit and it has to be on the inside or you won't be able to press the top to open the tongs. Hope this helps. I recommend potential buyers to get the option for fewer and see if you like them first!

Only 6 ended up working. The chalk gets stuck quite a bit for the ones that ended up working, have to use some force to make it work. As for the others tried changing the chalk thought the one I had put was probably the wrong size yet it wouldn't work no metter how many times I changed it.

Great product for the price! I ordered this for our toddler to use on his chalk table. His hands stay clean, the chalk doesn’t break, everyone’s happy! Easy to adjust the chalk. Great product.

This was a waste of money. I do not have a car otherwise I would return and get my money back. They're going to charge me 7.99 to have UPS pick it up from my house, so that's the only reason I'm keeping the product. The chalk slides right into the holder, I used two different brands of chalk (standard size chalk) and none of the holders (not even one!) held the chalk in place. The erasers are also VERY cheap. Fabric wrapped over what feels like foam. Save your money, this product is garbage. And to think our teachers spend money like this for supplies to teach our kids and they get screwed. I'm glad this was just a purchase for my daughter's chalkboard to color with and not something I needed for work otherwise I'd be fuming!!

The chalk either slides out or doesn’t fit. The chalk holder easily pushes through it gets jammed ALL THE TIME. Bet it’ out of place or shape. COMPLETE HASSLE

Purchased this for my children who loves to draw on their chalk board. chalk last longer and keeps their hands from getting powdery. Easy to use and durable .
