Kristy's Great Idea: The Baby-Sitters Club, Book 1

Bought for our granddaughter who is 8 years old. She started reading one of the series at school just before the summer break and thoroughly enjoyed it. We purchased the first three books so that she could start at the beginning. She loves reading at night before going to sleep. These have great characters running through the series. It's also something she can share with her mum who can remember reading them when she was young.

I read these books when I was growing up and I absolutely adored them. Deciding to read them again in my 30s I was worried that they would let me down… but they didn’t. I absolutely adored this first instalment of The Babysitter’s Club and the absolute nostalgia feels I got making my way through it were even better!!! I love how timeless this story is and the issues that Martin addresses are as relevant to young girls today as they were all those years ago!Can’t wait to get stuck into the next book of the series!

My 9 year old daughter read this book in a single sitting. It was appropriate for her reading level and she loved the characters and storyline. We will be carrying on with this series.

I enjoyed it lots and lots. I felt in the story. I feel as if I am Kirsty, in the book.

Ann you all ways make your story's as if they are real and like you are there. The book that I would give anything to read would be The Babysitter's Club Stacy's emergency.

Great book to read. I read these books when I was younger & noticed they on the kindle so started reading them all again!

Great very easy to understand but exciting. Near the end is great you find out lots of things. overall fantastic.

Good read got preteens

My 8yr old daughter really enjoyed this book. I was comfortable with her reading it because it's a good clean book that does not have stuff about sex or drugs instead it handles everyday issues that kids are exposed to eg: divorce,diabetes,secrets,tempers etc.. Looking forward to the whole series ;)

Ya tenía planeado leer este libro el año pasado pero se me hizo difícil conseguirlo hasta ahora, y no pude desaprovechar la oportunidad de leerlo, me maravillo como empieza la historia y dando una breve introducción de cada personaje así como su personalidad.
