This is an excellent product for bed bound people. It treats decubitus wounds aka hot spots, bed sores or pressure wounds. I am not a doctor, but my wife is confined to a bed, and I have used this product to treat spots that look like they may degrade into bed sores. So far, we have avoided any open sores on her back side. Do your research, you will see this product is worth the cost!
