They do run through the paper and can smudge but I found these easier to write with than any of the usual ball point pens.

Ok listen up, trust me•Reliability and life span:I bought these pens on october the 7th. CRAZY!! I am JUST on my final 12th pen, meaning that £8 pounds lasted me a year and 2 months, 2 weeks or so. Obviously i didnt use it for everything, i used it for most books.One pen lasts on average 2-3 months, for me 2. Depends on you, if you're messy and cross stuff out often, 2 months, but if minor mistakes then expect good life. One pen lasting 2 months means 12 pens will last theoretically 24 months. I shared 6 of these with my older sister, so it makes sense that 6 lasted for around a year, which is reliable.•actual pen itself:It's really smooth, sometimes i am suprised at how quickly it dries up, and thats where the only negative is, the 1 star lost. The ONLY bad thing is with the fast drying technology, it means that the ink will be slightly visible from the opposite side of the page. I have ocd, it doesnt bother me the most, perhaps because my ocd isnt too strong, but its not too visible. Apart from that the pen moves smoothly, its fast, comfortable, can check how much ink there is.I gave one of the pens to my friends, telling them to make it leak. they made it leak but i got informed that it wasnt easy to make the pen leak, good news, the way its made is brilliant.•conclusion: im doing too much homework, because i just wrote a P.E.E structured paragraphs on why a pen is good. Its good, i reccommend, i havent wrote such a long review on any other product, not even a laptop. This pen is amazing, get it!!!
