Lightweight and easy to assemble/disassemble which makes it perfect to take away!This is my third in 14years and I use it every day.Very happy to recommend, though I appreciate we're all looking for something a little different.

Makes life easier when foot pain makes walking impossible
We bought this for my mother when she was unable to walk to the bathroom due to severe foot pain. After trying a regular commode, which was almost impossible for her to get onto, this transfer commode was a lifesaver. So much easier, safer, and more dignified. Very glad we have this for the next time it might be needed.

Perfect for showering, exactly what we needed.
Perfect for use in a stand up shower. Easy to put together and comfortable. It was purchased for my husband following a car accident, and now that he no longer uses it, my parents have kept it for their aging hips and knees in the shower. Awesome bench.

Pretty much what I expected amd it certaily does the job, but IMO whoever rated this for 400lbs is dreaming... no way would I expect tbis thing to survive regular use by someone +300lbs. I'm about 280, and I feel like I'm pushing it... luckily I use it in an RV and only need it about 10-15 days a year.
