Amazing headphones, amazing mic.
Headset: The 3D sound is extremely fun to play with. You can bind actions to head movements. It's kind of mind blowing. The imaging for gaming is as good as it gets. Great for music as well.Nite Mic: It's excellent. It's a bit sensitive to ambient noise but the quality is fantastic. It's meant for gaming. I'm using some Phillips SHP9500 headphones connected to the mic itself. The dac/amp or whatever magic in the mic works wonders. The audio is super clear. Not the loudest but loud enough and high quality sound.Nothing but love for both of these products but the Nite Mic especially is amazing.

After a year above right earcup breaks.
I had these headphones for almost half a year and avoided any updates on it because of Audeze's problems with their firmware. When I heard they released a update during October, I tried updating my headphones following their instructions (deleted old HQ launcher and downloaded new one with the V5 firmware) and it had led my headphones to not working. There isn't even a restore anymore, and the worse part is the headphones worked fine without the update and now it's a 400 dollars headphone of no use now. Please reconsider buying because they never replied to me or given me solution for a long time, even told me I need to buy a new one or pay for replacement.Update: After more than a year these 400 dollars headphones breaks on the top of the earcup. Noticed it too late before it broke from just daily usage. I also noticed the otherside started to crack as well. Many others had this issue!! The cheap plastic part holding the earcups breaks easily!

Not the quality I expected
UPDATE: Just over a month of irregular use of the Audeze Mobius. I'm already experiencing intermittent muting issues with its left earcup. This shouldn't be the case for a $400 headphones that should have undergone quality assurance, and advertised as highly durable. Now I'm past the 30 day refund, can't return it, and can't have it fix locally since I'm outside the US :( Audeze customer service is responsive though, and still love the Apogee Nite Mic.I have the original Apogee Mic, but then came a time where I have to use it more frequently, and found the inconvenience of having to use a USB-C dongle (with the MacBook Pro), setting up and dismantling the pop filter (because I don't have a dedicated recording place), and putting the mic back to its original box (to avoid dust). So I searched and found out about the New Apogee HypeMic, which got everything in my checklist, except for one - I'm not digging the rose gold color. It will not fit with the color scheme of my dream studio setup. I actually prefer the color of the Apogee Mic Plus, but it got no accessories (I'd have to buy it separately, same price but giving up the built-in compressor). So I was split. Then I saw an ad with the photo of Apogee Mics side by side, the Plus, the Hype, and a MATT BLACK ONE?!?!?! So I checked it out and discovered this Apogee NITE MiC.THIS IS THE DREAM!!! And it also got headphones. I've watched and read reviews about the Audeze Mobius, and it's a great headphone without a doubt. So in addition to recording with a premium mic, I can also listen to it with premium headphones. I never had a premium headphone so this is such a GREAT BONUS.But then it's primarily marketed as a gaming/streaming mic, and not a single mention of it being good for recording music. I'm a gamer, but I will use this primarily to record vocals and instruments, so not sure if this will also work well for such. But the thought of getting both a premium mic and a premium headphones, in a limited edition, at a discount, is so surreal . . . so I took the risk anyway.AUDEZE MOBIUS. The unboxing experience is very special, from the packaging, to the manuals, to the cables, and the actual headset, you can really say its premium and have been given great thought for every detail. The headphones are no doubt epic sounding and also very flexible, from being wireless, to a 3.5mm, to a USB-A, or USB-C. From 3D to normal, from being stereo, to surround-sound, to Hi-Res. So you may want to set it up to Hi-Res to get the richest and fullest possible sound it can offer (which I just lately discovered, more things to discover with this headphones). You can also use it while charging with USB. It comes with a pouch for the headphones, but I wish they could have included a case, but maybe that's already going too far, haha.APOGEE NITE MIC. The unboxing experience is straightforward, you unbox the case, and the case has the mic and all its accessories, that's it. When I saw that I got the No. 2, my excitement DOUBLED!! Haha. I love the matt black body, its small footprint, and how its shape lets you hold it in your hand like a real mic for some performance (if you so want). Overall, it feels like an Apogee Mic Plus body (in a gorgeous limited edition skin) with the Apogee HypeMic accessories - except there's no USB-C, so you need to buy a separate cable (if you need one), but the included USB-A cable is looong. The quality of the mic is what you come to expect from Apogee, no question. What I noticed is it picks up a slight bump in mids and highs, compared to the original Apogee Mic, so I just have to do a little bit of EQing to fit my preference. So my question if it's also good for recording music is, YES, YES IT IS. Hope this helps those on the fence with a similar use case.In conclusion, A SUPERB PURCHASE!!! Get one before it's gone

Insane experience!
I rarely take the time to write reviews so when I do, it's either because I had an incredible or horrific experience. Well, this review is definitely the former. I watched a live stream on Amazon about these products a couple months ago. I wanted to believe everything the guys were saying but I've been promised the world only to end up disappointed too many times to get my hopes up. I figured, I'd give them a try and return them when they didn't live up to the hype. Well, after using the headset and mic for a while now, I'm ruined for anything else. My first time jumping into a chat with friends was pretty funny because the guy in the stream actually said this would happen. The first thing I heard was, "WOW! Did you get a new mic?! You sound like you're sitting in the room with me" (which would be a little creepy haha). Let's not forget about the headset.... I mean.... my gosh. You just can't imagine until you experience it. A few weeks ago, I forgot to charge the battery and had to go back to my old (rather expensive) headphones and I felt disgusted that I allowed that horrible sound to bombard my ears for so long. Of course at the time, I didn't realize. If you can handle the price, you won't regret the purchase. Do yourself a favor and focus on sound quality before you drop $300 on a gaming chair or upgraded controller. I wish I would have.
