Hot Shot Tools Gold Series Spring Curling Iron 1/2 Inch

Like it. I use a 1/2" & they are kinda hard to find.

This is the best brand of curling irons I have ever used. It gets super hot.

I thought I was ordering the Hot Tools 1/2 inch curling iron but mistakenly ordered the Hot Shot tools 1/2 inch curling iron. It appears to be smaller than 1/2 inch. The Hot Tools one is slightly bigger and that is what I wanted. It is closer to 3/8 inches than 1/2 inches.

My brand of choice in curling irons for approx 20 years.

It stopped heating after 4 months because the on/off button stoped working and fell off.

It's OK....cant distinguish this brand from any other brand. Needed a new one and a friend suggested Helen of Troy.

I've been using these irons for years, and although I haven't tried the new one, I'm sure it's fine. It's one of the few brands with a 7/8" rod, so I was glad to find that it is still available. And it arrived amazingly early--2 or 3 days after I ordered it. I thought it was too expensive, which is why I rated it 4 stars, but since I'm not able to get to the local store where I normally would have purchased it, I haven't done a cost comparison.
