These are easy to put on and take off. I get foot pain right behind my toes and have to add a hook and loop strap to keep contact with that sore area or keep my feet on the floor. But ice does do wonders for pain and these work. I think these should last a while and so far I'm happy being less painful.

I work 10-12 hours a day on my feet as a manager of a LARGE restaurant. I put these on when I come home and they last about 25 minutes. Not too cold that it is unbearable. I pop them back in the freezer for the next use. I use these 5 days a week and it helps tremendously with swollen, achy feet.

I absolutely LOVE these-I am a landscape designer and during the summer months, an extreme my ankles and feet were swelling terribly. I couldn't wait to get home and put them on. They are very helpful. I wish so so much that the chill/cold lasted more than 15 mins...obviously my feet must be very HOT. The seam on the bottom gel pack burst after my 20th use-thankfully they stay frozen most of the time. I haven't tried to return them...and I probably should.**I might suggest an additional option to the original design-adding a larger pack that cools the top of your foot as well. It would make the experience feel much more complete. Add another Velcro closure around the ankle-and these newly designed Therapy Booties would be sublime.Overall the idea-and result is wonderful-as it is an inventive, effective product (that could be EVEN better) for those of use that suffer with painful feet!

These are pretty good for minor icing needs. The socks are comfortable and the design incorporates a separate ice pack for the soles of the feet and an different, smaller ice pack for the backs of the heels.However, the ice packs are thin, and warm up after only 10 minutes of use. If you need to go longer, you'll be out of luck. I purchased two sets so that I'll be able to ice my feet for 20 minutes. And while one is being used, the other can be cooling in the freezer. Just be aware that these don't last very long at all.They feel ver nice, though!

These are a little large for my women's size 8.5 narrow feet, but it is easier to get into them and take them off than the medium size which I also ordered. The cooling lasts about 20 minutes which what is recommended and freeze back pretty quickly. I like the pocket that slips down around the back of the heel area. They're soft. Not sure how much the strap actually holds them in place. It is not removable in case you were wondering.I've tried other ways of icing my feet and these gel units and socks are the most convenient and keep them in place. I mentioned the size medium was much tighter. I found I could slip a foot sock on, then the icepacks and then another cotton foot sock over it and keep them in place easier than trying to slip down into the sock.

I bought these not for plantar fasciitis, but for pain from a stress fracture. I've been using it for a few days and am very happy with my purchase. I turned the sock upside down to be able to get the cold where the pain is. It worked perfectly and was comfortable. A couple hours in the freezer and they get nice and cold and the cold lasts for well over a half hour. The sock provides enough of a barrier to keep it from getting too icy, while keeping it situated nicely on your foot. My feet go through a lot of stress while doing higher impact workouts, so I will definitely continue to use them even after the stress fracture heals. I like them so much I am considering buying another pair for a family member. The fit was true to size - I wear a women's size 9 and the small/medium fits great.

I am in love with these socks. I have plantar fasciitis that I have struggled to treat for several years. Through stretches and shoes with arch support I'm at the point that I would consider it is being managed. That said, I work in a hospital and spend all night on my feet. By the time I get home they ache so much. Not sharp stabbing pain, just a dull constant ache. These socks with ice packs are a godsend. I keep them in the freezer and then pop them on my feet when I get home. Straight out of the freezer is a little too cold but after a 5 minute warm up they are the perfect temperature. I don't know that they are doing anything that actually fixes my problems but goodness they make me feel better.

Just got these and so far i think they are great. Read some reviews saying that some people wished the ice packs stayed frozen longer. I find that they are so cold, which is great for the pain, but i couldnt keep my feet on the ice packs for more than 10 minutes anyway. My feet were frozen by then. But i kept them by my feet on the floor and just randomly laid my feet on them a couple minutes at a time for the next hour. They do the job! The only thing for me is its hard not to get up and walk on them, as the gel packs may bust. I think they are a little expensive, but when you have pain, you are willing to pay for relief! Quality is also really good.
