Three Lime Shave Soaps And Kingsley Shave Bowl Dark Wood

The shave soap is great, I have enjoyed them over the years. I have used a brush and soap all of my life so this came as no surprise to me on how to use the system here. Rookies haven't figured out to heat the soap and pour it into the wood bowl and if they don't do that there will be difficulties. As far as I am concerned, this is the only way for a man to shave, single blade with real soap and a nice brush to apply the lather. Get one...

Very well done solid wood bowl. Rich brown color but grain still visible. The soap pucks are smaller in diameter than the bowl but the trick is to microwave the soap in the bowl for a couple of 10 second bursts. The soap melts then hardens to perfect fit in the bowl. One puck is enough to fill the bowl but leave space for the lid to fit. In use the soap lathers fine and leaves your face smooth and soothed. Great product

Other reviews are spot on.This is excellent soap and a very nice dish.It could have been a bit stronger in the lime department. It is somewhat weak as lime goes if your a lime lover like me. However it lathers up very well and renders a very smooth shave even when using a aggressive blade. I will purchase again but will add my own lime oil to the soap when I melt it the microwave so it fits the bowel.

I just started using a brush and shaving soap after years of electric razors. This soap really lubricates my face before shaving and the shaves I get are so much closer and my face is much smoother. I would recommend this soap to any one looking for a great shave.

Love the wooden bowl. Packaged with the soap, it's a great value if your a fan of Col. Conk Soaps (I am). A lot of people melt the soap in the microwave to make it fit the diameter of the bowl. I'd advise doing this in a microwave-safe bowl & pouring it in rather than putting the wooden bowl in the microwave.
