It's very sturdy and feels great in your hands. More expensive then a plastic one, but it's worth it for the feel and quality. In a car it doesn't matter as much to me. But on a motorcycle it seems nicer to have. Fits great. Works great. It's very solid in the DIN port when plugged in.Funny part of the story is when I installed it didn't register any voltage. I thought, oh man it's defective. So I double check the power port, nothing. Ending up taking off the cover to access it, and I found the wiring connector was not plugged in all the way from the previous owner of my new to me 2011 BMW R1200RT. I was smiling big time when I plugged in the charge and on it came.

Works as it's supposed to.

Simple must have for todays motorcyclist.

I was surprised at the quality of the machining on this plug when it arrived. It's larger than I expected and sticks out a fair amount from the Hella DIN plug on your bike, but it feels rock solid and doesn't wiggle or vibrate in the socket. I would trust this plug to stay in securely on a long road trip. The display works fine and is reasonably readable in daylight.No complaints. Maybe would be a little better if it was slightly smaller, but feels sturdy and high-quality in the hand.

I've got a BMW bike and always need a USB to charge my phone and other accessories. This one will fit. It is very useful to show my battery voltage because my bike doesn't have a battery meter. I've gone through some others that didn't hold up, but this one had a metal body and feels heavier. I hope it will last longer. Others have rusted on the inside and lost connection to the USB when it gets a little rain and have stopped working. I'd suggest removing it in the wet.

Quality construction, initial function is good. Haven't had it or used it long enough to evaluate durability or longevity.

Well, what can be said?1) it's pure aluminum, a big plus!2) shows true voltage from battery, but doesn't wear the battery down (had it sitting for almost a week, yet it fired right up without a trickle charger)3) it's fairly small, although if you're looking for a slimline/flat face, this isn't it.4) charges my HP Spectre 13" laptop from the USB-C port, along with my camera equipment and phone. No issues with it!5) when it begins to rain, I unplug everything and use the included silicon cover to protect it from any residual waterI showed my friend and fellow Tiger rider the gadget while charging his phone (he didn't have any way to charge). He ordered one as soon as we came back into cell service! This is a total MUST for any adventure rider on the go!

Works great until it falls apart, then it goes into the trash. Do not buy.

se hai bisogno di corrente e quella al supporto del telefono non basta questo fa al caso tuo. solitamente usavo la presa al supporto smartphone, utilizzando app con gps il telefono faceva molta fatica a restare carico ( prendeva carica lentamente). collegandolo a questo il telefono resta sempre al 100% di carica

Ce petit accessoire est bien pratique. Il permet de se raccorder sur les prises DIN 12v (souvent utilisées sur les motos BMW) pour pouvoir alimenter un accessoire en USB.Par contre, le côté étanche me laisse... sceptique !Car une fois le capuchon ouvert, qu'est ce qui empêche l'eau de rentrer ?Mais le problème sera exactement le même avec tous les adaptateurs de ce genre...
